Talk Of The Town Party 179
This week served as a reminder that I'm no longer a spring chicken. We've been helping our daughter move into their first home and holy crap, the old knees, hip, back, and shoulders ain't what they used to be. And I was mostly watching the grandkids! LOL
Mr. Frugalista and I would come home in the evening and plop ourselves on the sofa with heating pads, ice packs, and went through a large tube of extra strength Voltaren in a week! Oh to be young again

Thanks so much for hosting each week!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Debbie
Hope you're having a good week Debbie and thanks for joining us!
DeleteAging certainly isn't for sissies. Five years ago I would get bored with doing something, but never really felt tired, like I needed to rest. Not anymore. I hope next week is easier for you
ReplyDeleteIn my head I'm still in my 30's but my body is screaming otherwise, especially my left problem knee. Thankfully the last of the move was finished yesterday. You're right, Leanna, aging isn't for sissies!
DeleteThanks for the party, Marie. I'm excited to see my no sew flag featured by Gail! Iknow just what you mean about those aches and pains after helping with a move! Hope you have a relaxing week.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Beverly. That awesome flag of yours, I've noticed, has been featured everywhere this week - congrats! As for the move, we finished yesterday and my knee is thanking me. LOL
DeleteThanks so much for hosting, Marie! I get the 'gettin' old' thing.... I understand why the Lord keeps us from having children at our age! ;-)
ReplyDeleteEverything hurts today but thankfully we finished the move yesterday. Thanks for joining us again this week, Julie!
DeleteThanks, Marie for always having a great party! LOVE the choices this week.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoy our party, Sandi and looking forward to seeing what you shared with us this week!
