Talk Of The Town Party 207
Our apologies for getting the party off to a late start today. Like they say, better late than never. 😉You guys, it is FREEZING outside where I live. Today our temperature is -34℃ (-29℉ ) and when you factor in windchill it is -44℃ (-47.2℉)! ❄ 🌨 ❆ For those of you living in warm climates can you wrap your brain around this kind of cold? I'm wrapped in layers INSIDE the house and our furnace is going non-stop. A good day to stay indoors and be inspired by all of your creative and delicious links here at the party.
Welcome back to a new week of Talk of the Town!

Oh my goodness, that is COLD! I do not live in a warm climate, but we don't get temperatures that low. Bundle up and stay warm!
ReplyDelete-36C this morning, brrrrr. Our poor furnace (and gas bill) is running non stop. LOL
DeleteThose temps sound awful! I'm in IL and so far we've had a mild winter. Hoping it stays that way! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteWe've been spoiled with a mild winter too...until recently. Mother Nature is full of surprises!
DeleteWow Marie! So sorry, you must be freezing! Saturday it was 79 degrees here in Kentucky...normally anywhere from teens-40s in January here, and sometimes even below zero, but never almost 80!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!
Amber, can I have what you're having! LOL Thank goodness we're heading to the tropics soon for a break from these nasty temperatures. Counting the sleeps!
DeleteThanks so much for hosting !! I hope you are having a great week!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Debbie
It's a cold week over here as I'm dressed in layers INSIDE the house! -36C (-33F) here this morning. Dangerously cold.
DeleteNo, I cannot wrap my head around that kind of cold! That has to be dangerous to just go outside for even a minute! We've been having unseasonably warm weather in Charleston - it was 80 yesterday. I hope it warms up for you to a safer temperature soon! Thanks for hosting the party, Marie!
ReplyDeleteDangerously cold indeed, Beverly. My thoughts always go the homeless in times like these. This morning it is -36C, two degrees colder.
DeleteThank you for hosting Marie. I so understand the freezing, I refuse to go into our basement, and the garage. If it isn't on the main floors I don't need it lol.
ReplyDeleteWe have a small media room in the basement and when I close the door and turn on the fireplace it gets so toasty warm. I've been pretty much living in that room during this deep freeze. LOL
DeleteThe recipes look so good Marie. I cannot wait to try a few. Happy Weekend. Love your jar snowmen too. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
My mouth waters whenever I look at all the delicious recipes linked up each week. Enjoy! Happy weekend back to you. I'll be spending mine indoors wrapped in a blanket. LOL
