Talk Of The Town Party 210
Hello friends, I hope you've had a good week and the flu bug hasn't entered your home. In our house, we have a cold and intestinal bug floating around. Funny thing is, Mr. Frugalista had the flu shot and he's been sick four times since. I haven't had the flu shot and was sick once (finger's crossed). I know it's a controversial subject but unless you work around children or the medical field, I'm not convinced everyone needs it. But that's just my opinion.
Welcome back to a new week of Talk of the Town!
Thanks again for bringing over your beautiful projects and recipes last week!
Here are a few highlights from the last party.
But first, let’s take a look at what you may have missed from your party hosts!

Thanks so much for featuring my bracelets Marie!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Tuula, they are so pretty!
DeleteThanks for hosting, Marie. We've been fortunate at our house- no flu. My husband always gets a shot, I no longer get them. I always did when I was teaching, but now being at home, I don't. Hope you both avoid any more sickness this winter.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you haven't been bitten with the flu bug, Bev! My husband has been struggling for over a week now with this stomach bug. So far so good for me (finger's crossed). Stay healthy!
DeleteThank you very much for featuring my Chocolate Strawberry Valentines cake. It was simple to make but I love how it turned out. Have a great week, and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Leanna! It sounds delicious and I adore how you decorated it.
DeleteThanks so much for hosting each week!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Debbie
Always appreciate you joining us, Debbie! Have a great week. xo
DeleteDear Marie,
ReplyDeleteI hope you all get better from the flu swiftly! Luckily, it passed us this winter and hopefully we'll stay away from it (fingers crossed). Working with children means we are exposed to all kinds of viruses, but also we've built up on our immune systems (the teachers I mean) so I guess we manage to "shoo" them away :)
Thank you for hosting another fantastic party! I spied some incredibly eye-catching projects in your selection, I cannot wait to see.
Glad to hear the flu escaped your house, Maya! I can only imagine the bugs you are exposed to working with children. I remember all too well how my daughter, who had a compromised immune system when she was young, was always coming home with something. Wish the flu shots were available back then! Could have saved her many rounds of antibiotics, that to this day affect her digestional system.
DeleteThank you for hosting and letting me link my 'love you more' wall art, #4. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us, Allyson! I popped over for a visit this morning to take a closer look at your lovely Valentine wall art.
DeleteLove that garland from Crissy! Thanks for hosting, Marie! Hope your family gets and stays healthy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Julie, I think (finger's crossed we are on the mend). Have a great weekend and thanks for joining us!
